There are many ways for you to contribute to the meaningful and lasting ministry of LifeCare Services. LifeCare would not exist if it were not for many, many giving people with a variety of talents, and all levels of resources. Many of our clients would not be able to overcome overwhelming obstacles, if it were not for your generous, practical support. We are exclusively supported by private donations from individuals, organizations and churches, to our non-profit, 501(c)3 organization.

You may be inspired by the variety of folks who have contributed in the past: Teenagers and youth groups. Church groups of senior ladies. Groups and individual men doing practical improvements on our plumbing, wiring, drywall. Couples designing and installing new landscaping materials. Tree surgeons. Businesses helping us pay off our mortgage, designing our website, supporting our ultrasound. Churches helping us with practical support. Individuals donating stocks. Couples donating used cars.

The list is humbling. And yet the vision remains strong and the needs continue.

• Donate Directly to Client Needs At LifeCare, our clients participate in the nationally acclaimed program, Earn While You Learn. This interactive educational program pairs a peer counselor or parenting instructor with a mom or group of moms [and dads] who learn about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. Prenatal Care, Newborn Care, Reducing the Risks of SIDS, Car Seat Safety, and The Parent Child Relationship are just a few of the many educational modules our moms, babies, and dads look forward to. Moms earn Bonus Bucks which they can "spend" in the Baby Boutique or the Pea Pod maternity closet. They are excited to see all the new items they can "purchase."

  Currently, we need new items such as: Baby Carriers, Swaddle Me blankets, newborn girl onesies, 12 and 18 months boy's and girl's sleepers, and generously-sized flannel blankets. If someone wants to donate new maternity clothes, a gift card from Target, Penny's, etc. will work, as it will for Baby Boutique, and Babies' Book Shelf; i.e. gift cards will enable us to buy the items moms are need most. • Donate Consumable Goods  Every month we use diapers, pregnancy tests, office supplies, postage, and more.

• Donate Event Goods One of the essential parts of operating a ministry, is raising the funds we need to operate and to reach those in need. We participate in a small handful of fundraising and "awareness" events which often require help to present the proper specific event. Example: A florist provided beautiful bouquets and centerpiece florals for our annual banquet.

• Donate Time  Volunteers fall into two categories: either the client-contact category or the non-client category. Those who work directly with our clients go through comprehensive training, and help with services such as answering our hotline, counseling, ultrasound (professional), nutrition and Earn While You Learn classes. Non-client volunteers may help us with newsletters, mailings, and the Walk event we do to raise funds, or taking care of the plants, or doing maintenance and repair work around the house, or any of a variety of other practical helps.

• Donate Services  Similar to donating time, sometimes there is a specific service that you can donate. LifeCare is always grateful for the donated services of physicians, practitioners, attorneys, pastors, dentists, nutritionists, computer repair specialists, electricians, landscapers, childcare, etc.

• Pray  All aspects of this ministry need to be undergirded by prayer. We are always grateful for those who will diligently lift up in prayer our clients and our volunteers and our decisions and our staff and our supporters and even our building and resources.

• Donate Money  We would be honored to receive your donation so we can be good stewards of financial resources in meeting the needs of these families in need. You may contribute by sending a check to our offices at the contact information provided.

  Some people favor the built-in record keeping of their credit cards, and have requested the option to contribute by credit card, either with a single contribution, or to automate monthly charges. • Donate Stock or Real Estate  Periodically we have people donate stock or real estate. In that event, we can work with your advisors to receive your gift in a way that meets your wishes, and which can be converted into usable form for us.

• Donate A Car  Reliable, used cars are extremely helpful in providing dependable transportation. Very often, clients are trying to hold down jobs, attend university classes, get to doctor's appointments and grocery shopping. A good used car is a God-send.
